Sutent and AMG 386 Phase II Trial

Hi,

Just wanted to see if anyone else was on the Phase II trial of combining Sutent (sunittinib) and AMG 386. 

I have Stage IV metastatic cancer that has spread to my lungs and lymph nodes.  I have been on the trail for just over 13 weeks.  My first scan at the 12 week marker showed a total tumor shrinkage of 34.4%.

Any one else out there?

My husband has stge. IV spread to lungs.....he is on sutent--what is AMG 386???? Is it new?? 

 

AMG 386 is a peptibody that binds to and inhibits angiopoietin 1 and 2. It is being investigated as a cancer treatment. It is being tried with a number of approved treatments. The treatment I am on is combining it with Sutent. It is believed that it will enhance the overall affect of the Sutent. I take the AMG 386 by IV once a week, every week and the Sutent pill 4 weeks on and two weeks off.
