I finished 6 months of chemo 5/29/09, had double mastectomy 6/23/09 & 30 radiatiobn treatments 9/9/09. My husband and I had sex for the first time approx 4 days ago. It hurt like I never felt before. This was totally unexpected. We tried again couple of days ago going very slowly and I could bare the pain. It seems the more we do it the easier it will be. We are going to try again tonite, I pray it is better...I hate my husband has to go through yet another wait, but he is so loving and patient through all of this.
