My husband had blood in his urine this past weekend. Well, one ultarsound later and now he is scheduled for an MRI on Tuesday. 2 more tests to be done after that but the left kidney definitely has to come out we are told. He's already had the bloodwork done. Very scary but we try to stay hopeful. The mass on his kidney is very large...14cm by 2cm and I forget the other measurement. The doctor said he had never seen one with those dimensions before. It's long and skinny and not very thick. Has anyone come across this before. An unusually shaped mass?
I've been reading posts here and yes the waiting and not knowing is so hard to do.
