Bone pain after seed therapy

My husband had seed therapy implants in May 2009.  He has had external radiation for testicular cancer 25 yrs ago.  Before  seed implants MRI showed compression of lumbar spine with marrow reconversion.  I questioned more radiation, but left the decision up to him.  He now complains of severe back pain, and has a hard time sitting. I'm wondering if possibly the ca had spread before the seed therapy was done, but was just not detected.  He has psa levels scheduled for next month.  BTW, he has had the grey coloring for two years now.  Just coincidence?  Any thoughts would be appreciated.

What was his initial PSA, Gleason and stage if you know it? His coloring is not a good sign. I suggest a new bone scan to see if the cancer has spread there.

His psa started at 1.8 in 2005; went to 3.3 by early 2006.  He had a referral to a urologist but didn't go until 2008.  At time of tx psa was 6.17, free psa was 10, gleason 6, and stage II.

It is very unlkely than the bone pain was caused by the radiation as the radiation from seeds extends no more than 1mm which is far from any bones.

It is also possible but unprobable that his PC had spread to the bones with his Gleason and psa. Bone matastis is very rare with a psa of less than 20. Pain could be from an old injury and not connected radation or PC.

I had bone pain in 2007,I know how bad it can be. It was in my ribs and lower back. I took pain meds just to sleep, but after awhile even those only worked for a few hours finely I didn’t sleep or eat much for a month or so the pain was so grate it use to make give me a  feeling  of nausea then after seeing a naturopath. She put me on a no sugary food or drinks diet. A three months cause of liquid cellular Zeolitte 15 drops 4 times a day. And  very high dose of vitamin C and Zinc a year later a bone scan found  no prostrate cancer bone Mets I’m on that holistic alterative treatment now. Though I don’t mine having  the flack seed oil and the cottage cheese of a morning for breakfast any more I’ve gotten use to it as well as a lot of other stuff I have to take  I feel it must be  working as people in the church say I m looking better and I’ve finally lost that gray color we get with cancer  and I’m finely fee of pain I feel better I’m getting around more I’m seem to be  living my life instead of just waiting to it my time to die. All the best Ray
