Hi everyone, I am on here looking for guidance and support with my Janie girl. She was originally diagnosed with a bladder infection and we first tried Batryil and then Amox. She has not responded and has gotten worse. She is passing blood and tissue, wants to urinate and only passes a little, she has very little energy, is sometimes in pain, and her gums and tounge are very white and she as of yesterday has become incontinent. She has an ulrasound on Thurs which I hope will ease my mind some. I am not sure I am doing the right thing by putting her through all this. She has been sick for over a month now with everyday seeming to get a little worse. I am really afraid it has already spread outside of her bladder. She is still eating although I am being inventive but other than that and wanting to set on the couch with me all she does is try to force urine / blood out of her bladder.
I also have another concern which would be her 8yr old daughter Annie who has never been away from her Mother......and when I say never I mean maybe 24 hours total broken up in her whole life. She has a very bad heart and was supposed to pass 6 yrs ago but has done very well. I am afraid the trauma of loosing her Mother will cause me to loose her too.
I would really appreciate anyone's experence with this type on cancer or with how to help other dogs through the grieving process.
