I was diagnosed with ET 2 years ago & have been on various combinations of hydrea and agrylin. I wanted to answer the question about how long one stays in treatment. My Doc says forever as there is no cure. I am interested in chatting with ohter about their experiences.
The bone marow testing is painful but the test can tell many helpful things about essential thrombocytosis & other more serious diseases.
