My husband is 75 and was diganosed with sarcomatoid carcinoma lung cancer on the 13 August 2009. He had fluid on his lungs 2!/2 qt. of fluid was draw off of his right lung. A mass was in the lower part of the right lung and in the center of his chest close to the heart another mass. It is a large mass. He has had 1 regiment of chemo. and started his 2. Blood work is doing well. The xray show very little swrinking. Has any one had this tipe of cancer if so how long was it before you could tell it was swrinking.
