Hello

it has been  a while, been up all night, so here I'am,  Went to Dr. today so far so good for my husband, as well as can be for stage IV Colon can cer Met to liver, They changed his treatment to Arbutux and and another chemo he lost all his hair just about, so last weekend we spent with the grandchildren and my gandson and granddaughter shaved the rest off  age 11 and 12. they thought that was cool. and gramps looks like a Irish kojack.  He is eating great no swelling of his liver no pain anywhere at times maybe loose stools thats about it,  They changed his treatment from Avastin and others to this new treatment because last Pet Scan showed signs of increased activity in the liver and his CEA was high, This new treatment brought  CEA from 190 to 118 to 34 to 22 today,  So that made us feel very good.   His face broke up badly but we did get the cream for his face that did help.  Our On, has been out for 6 weeks ( my husband said this not me) she had to go get pregnant at this time.  we all laughed and she said don't worry I will be checking in everyday and she lives right by our Cancer Center, But so far he is doing pretty well.  Our Primary Dr. said he looks great and doing so well because he is getting great care,  I hope so, The poor guy from weekly blood tests Dr. visits and Chemo for 5 to 6 hr. every Monday I don't know how he does it and keep such a good outlook,  I keep telling him you can't leave me , and life is better then not.   He wakes up every Morning with a smile and Good morning sweety he keeps positive and happy to be living.  I know it can change anytime but maybe just maybe we will get lucky and I keep him for as long as I can.  Our Life has changed, but thats ok, as long as I can have another day with him lifei is good,  Thanks and I pray for all on this site and may your days with your loved ones be special and smile they need that smile touch them they need it all,

Hi, So nice to read your story, and so glad your Husband is doing good, and you are so right, enjoy one day at a time and get best out of each day, the journey you are all on is an emotional one with ups and downs, but stay positive and stay strong  and keep going.

Praying God will give you both many many years to enjoy each other.

                                          BEST WISHES
