Hi Jane,

This is starting to really worry me how many people are being diagnosed with this type of cancer, it seems it won't be a rare type for much longer.

How is your mum doing ? I know the first round of chemo is so terrifying - my husband couldn't handle being there for it and I was lucky enough to have an amazing friend who sat with me through all my treatments. Tell your mum ( if she hasnt already ) to talk to someone who can get her onto some supplements to help support her body through the treatment. I wish someone had told me this when I started as all I was doing was going in for chemo and battling the side effects. Vitamin C intravenously can help with the side effects and can also help the chemo to do its job better.

After a year and a half of chemo, with no good response, I decided to have a break from it. I have now been having Vitamin C and B17 intravenously each week and the results have been amazing. I seriously think I would be gone by now if it wasn't for this treatment. The doctors thought the same as I didn't have any improvement from the chemo. What works for one person doesn't mean it will work for another - you just have to give everything a shot. I have now been without the chemo for 2 months and I am feeling the best I have ever felt, my CA125 has dropped down to 80 and so far there has been no progression with my tumours. I know I could be doing a lot better if I could get more rest but you know what it is like being a mum ! Unfortunately the gloss of me having cancer has worn off with a lot of people and they now expect me to function as they do ..... I wish ! If you would like to get in contact with me I am on Facebook under the name Kathryn Seiffert. I would give you my email address but it does not allow you to pass personal information on this web site.

Any time you need to chat get in contact with me and any questions I can answer I am happy to do so. I know how scary this is let alone with the lack of information about it out there.

Take care  xx   Kathy  xx
