Please list the symptoms you had or have with lymphnoma.

I have so many symptoms.  I will get my blood work results back thursday. I am just curious if my symptoms are the same as anyone elses. I have many of the symptoms but I don't have the night sweats is this common?  also has anyone had pain in the lymphnodes.

My sister had a hard knot in her abd. Saw her gyne and he suggested colonoscopy/ GI doc. Her gyne did feel hard knot and suggested colonoscopy in which she did have. She prev. had hyster by this gyne years ago so not normal for something to be there.  Colonoscopy didn't show much due to stool from what I understand despite prep. "inconclusive." They did upper scope and suggested diet changes, etc. In the meantime, no ct abd/or other diagnostic done. Go figure. She also went to the er here with swelling in her left leg. ultrasound normal. Chest xray normal. Labs normal but did have coughing along with this and fatigue. Developed urinary incontinence recently and constipation and public swelling. On visiting her brother-in-law last night, who happened to be a retired physician (pathologist) in Green Bay area, he took one look at her and sent her to the er and did a total body ct last night. 96% sure lymphoma. In her abd, chest, spleen and neck from what I understand. All of the problems seemed to start an have happened over the past few months. Scary thing is her labs were totally normal with all of this and recent chest xray negative that was taken in the er from what I was told. Ct scans must be the best but I can't imagine why the chest xray wouldn't pick up the top of the spleen or some abnormality?

Hi

My symptoms were fatigued, night sweats, weight loss, and low grade fever.  The only reason why they caught mine was because I had blood in my urine and it looked like brown mudd.  I was sick for 2 years and they finally find out what was wrong.

thank you for responding. I just went to the doctor today and friday I am going in to get a biopsy on 1-3 lymph nodes that are swollen. Pretty stressful day.

Did you have to have lymph nodes taken out to find it or did you have blood work done?

I hope that you are feeling well. And that everything turns out to be fine with the mass they found. Your in my prayers

I will be praying for your sister to make a easy recovery, because from what I understand this can be cured.

Good luck!

My doctor told me that you don't have pain with lymphomia, and what ever you do you can't take out the lymphnodes with lymphomia because as soon as it gets oxygen it can spread.  The only thing they did with me is a biopsy and chemo, and they shrunk.  I also had my blood checked and they found the cancer in my blood.  I live in temple texas and go to Scott and White hospital.  If it wasn't for them I would probably not be here today.  I owe them my life and especially my doctor.  Dr. Patel found the problem and my oncologist is Dr Christian Cable.  Theses doctors mean the world to me.  Now lets just hope that my cancer isn't in my back and if it is I do chemo all over again.  It is what it is.  You can either give up or fight.  My prayers are with everyone.  Good luck Sweet T.

Thank you for writing. I am getting a biopsy on 2-3 lymph nodes on the 11th of december, not really sure how it works but I know I am getting an incision and that they are going to put me under local anastics for it. This is more like a out-patient surgery not a needle biopsy like some people get. Thank you for your info and if you can give me any other information on this procedure I would really appreciatie it.
