diagnosed with BAC recently

Hi,

I just happened upon this website, am 47 and recently diagnosed with BAC.  I have lesions in both lungs, a needle biopsy confirmed on the one lesion which has changed, none of the others have.  I am interested in finding out as much as I can about BAC.  Disease is considered "quiet" at the moment, minimal growth in the one lesion, a cough once in awhile and some fatigue.

Hello,

I am so sorry for your news.  Pls check this website at the diagnosis section for more info and request doctors to run if you are still skeptical.

Also, check out this website for more info on Lung Cancer.

I am a non-smoker diagnosed with BAC [scattered over both lungs] in May 2009....doctors believed that I would die before the month was out.  I have been on Tarceva immediately after diagnosis.

My side effects seem to be somewhat delayed.  I started with outbursts of  face lesions 2 months after and my oncologist reduced dosage from 125 to 100 mg and they are now minimal.  Since September 1st, I have seen considerable hair loss 50%.  It is more thinning rather than clumps lost.  I am hoping that it stops but it's not of great concern since I have quality of life and can be with my children and family.

I eats lots of greens and ensure daily supplements include zinc; flaxseed oil and omega 3.  Iron supplements always.

Need to mention that I am a 42-year-old female.
