Hi, my name is natasha, this is the second messgae i have posted on here. Last year i had 3 adenomatous polyps removed from my colon. Since then iv had 2 colonoscopys due to my age. More polyps but only one or two.

I had my check up yesterday, this time they found a palpable mass in my stomach. So guess what. . . yes another colonoscopy and endoscopy next friday.

On top of that they found cancerous changes in my endometrium and cervix also.

I was diagnosed with colitis and reumatoid arthritus and DDD all in the last 10 months.

Also have adhesions all through my body. Had 17 surgeries in the last 10 months!!

Im a single mum to a two and a half year old daughter. I am a nursery teacher and i am exhausted!! I live in cyprus and its hard to find anyone in a similar situation, i was just wondering if anyone out there is going through this too??

If so would be great to hear from you so i know im not alone . . .

Thank you. Just been sent to genetic testing for something called HNPCC or Lynch Syndrome. Does anyone know what this is??

The language barrier here is difficult to overcome!!! Lol x

Nat,

You should be able to find info on Lynch Syndrome (aka HNPCC).  It is a genetic disorder that makes an individual more prone to getting cancer, especially colon cancer.  It can cause multiple polyps to develop along the intestinal tract.  I have read that some of the people that have it, have their entire colon removed and replaced with a J pouch.
