what is the difference from polyclonal immogloubulin and monoclonal . I was told that on the paperwork it stated that I have the diagnosed of multiple mylenoma or mgus, and that they should check a bence jones protein now. I also have massive bone loss  tscore -2.9 in spine and hips 1.8 , I am only 30 and now I am shorter in height. I have been having bone pain , and my kidney rate is slowing down to 78 instead of where it was at 93 KFR  does this make sense

Hi there: First you want the Multiple Myeloma board which is different type of cancer from Melanoma (Melanoma starts on the skin) Sorr you have this disease that so many of us have. if you post this enquiry on that board you will get a lot of responses. They are a wonderful group.

I purchased a book from a group called medifocus and it was all about Multiple Myeloma. I found this book indisepsible as far as giving information. There is a multiple myeloma society that gives out free advice.  I liked this book as it touched on all aspects. It is a disease of such variety and symptoms having something to read is a big help.
