Prostate Cancer Gleason 8 Radiation

I have to take seven weeks (M - F) of radiation and I have completed the first week.  Can anyone tell me what to expect on a week to week basis. What I want is someone who has gone through this to tell me what happened to them each week.  List from the first to the last.  I'm really scared.  Thirty-five days of radiation around the pelvic area sounds like I'm not going to be able to urinate or move my bowels at the end.

 I had 39 external beam radiation in August 2005. the short term side effects were fatigue, constant urination.

About 8 months after rectal bleeding was present, and they really have no way of dealing with it, but I found a french study using carafate enemas that was successful. you will also expierence some nerve damge.

the treatment eventually failed and today I treat it with holistic medicine. My last PSA test 09/15/2009 was 0.46.

Thanks for the reply.  I'm happy that your PSA is as low as it is.  I'm not sure what you mean by your radiation was a failure.  (Gulp!!)  I'm not up on holistic medicine therapy for cancer and assume you waited that eight months after your treatment to try it.  What kind of expense is there?   Nerve damage means lots of pain to me so I keep you in my prayers.  God Bless.
