Do any of you have information about taking B-12 supplements? I am getting mixed opinions.

hi channelsurferdude Ive read The specific causes of prostate cancer remain unknown but my research is pointing straight at saturated fats and tri-fats this is no more then a  newspaper atrial. don't warier about it it has no scope and its very a bit anoying to read its keeps sayiing things like  The researchers say: what researchers what did they find where are they it is so lacking with facts. no links to the resarch they menion where are there these so called  facts it only give a mimimum amount of information and hints to me it just look like a bit of meda hipe the arital is bast on Folate and B12 were expected to be protective against prostate cancer, because folate, vitamin B12 and homocysteine are essential for methyl group metabolism and thus also for DNA methylation. Abnormal methylation, primarily hypermethylation of certain genes including tumor suppressors, has been implicated in prostate cancer development. it is bast on what I think is a flawed study in  2004 by Umea University Hospital, Umea, Sweden. it use very few paients to do the study but it right about one to much Vitamin B12 will harm you prostrate to much of any thing will harm you to Vitamin B 12 use corectly will do no harm and use  with other vitamins will help with cancer have a look at this artical http://www.cancertutor.com/Cancer/MSM.html

but I thing the best thing for cancer is is to get rid of the saaterated fats and tri fats to do this you need dr Budwig diet read this report on her at http://cancertutor.com/Cancer/Budwig.html

They say it may take up to a year or so to repaid thje damage cell membrain then start from there cheers Ray

Surferdude

I have been taking B6 and B12 for 3 years, my PSA has been reducing for three years. I agree with Ray, as long as you don't overdue it, it should help, the same with folic acid.  I believe the study was using too much of B12 and the sample size is too small to draw any conclusion from it. But B12 is only a small part of what I take.

God Bless

Dan
