Hi, again, everybody,
First of all, thanks for all the wonderful support!! Joe and I went to see the cancer dr. today, to go over his CAT scan results. Actually, I felt better after the appt. than I did going in. Joe has a tumor in the upper R lung, and a large "mass" in the lower R lung which has caused a partial collapse of that part of the lung. There are also some nodules on the outside of the lung but INSIDE the chest cavity. He did not see anything on the liver at this time!!
The dr. is having him get a CT scan of the brain and a PET scan of his body, followed by two biopsies, one of the tissue inside the lung, and one of the nodules outside the lung. He will be meeting with us again on Oct. 7 to review all the tests, and discuss with us what to do next.
They are pretty sure it is cancer, but the biopsies will confirm or deny this. We are planning on attacking this disease with the same strength that we have been using on my Multiple Myeloma. We are thinking positive thoughts (although our emotions are all over the place again), and will do a combination of traditional medicine and Tong Ren therapy which I have been doing for the MM.
I will keep you all posted, and once again, thanks for the private and public support. It is greatly appreciated!!
Love,
Mary Ann
