Help! Questions about TCC treatment

We just received the news no pet lover can bear.  Our precious little girl, Annie, has a tumor taking up half her bladder.  She is having procedure to take some cells out to find out if malginant or benign (vet said 70% are malginant).  Hoping for good news.  If TCC, will start on piroxicam.  She is now on Metacam and antibotics.  On the website, www.cancercare.org under bladder cancer, he writes to only give piroxicam in powder (gelcaps), never in liquid and to give it with cytotec, not pepcid or any other stomach remedies.  What is your opinions?

Also want to start on flaxseed and cottage cheese?  I need some dose info.  She is 18-19 lbs.still very happy dog.  I have noticed that she is panting more when going for short walks and even in the house.  Is this mean anything?

Like everyone else in this forum, we are so devastated but are trying to be brave.  Just want to do the best for her but there is sooo much info on this site, it makes my head spin and constantly second guessing what to do.

hi and sorry about what your going though I have a corgi she about 14years old I know  Metacam is an oral suspension is a non- steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) for use in dogs. It is indicated for the alleviation of inflammation and pain be carful of  Piroxicam is an NSAID that is used in the treatment of some cancers in dogs and cats, and to a lesser degree its mainly use for pain due to osteoarthritis. but some dog have had a bad reaction with it.The other  things I have ever seen to work well with dog blader cancer in dogs is liquid celular Zeolite. A lot of members have been saying over the last few years  the zeolitte starts working well in only a week or two.  I dont know if the flack seed oil will work in time as it takes months to work  it replaces the cell membrain that are damage by  saterated and tran fatty acids with the more healthy omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids but  blader cancer I feel is more a toxin isue so I fell the zeolit will work well one of the cc members said she had her  little dog on  on 4 drops 4 times a day this would work as bt then the flack seed oil and cotage chese will be starting to get going all the best Ray
