My doc put me on a prescription 1mg dose of folic acid since my
red,white and platelets had nose dived because of a bout with sinus
infection and bronchitis (which I've never experienced until chemo)leading to 875mg of Amox. which clobbered my counts that were great until the tail end of chemo and the infection/bronchitis issue. She gave me a
30 day supply.............I could only take the full for 14 days.......body
had weird reactions to such a high dose. I may go back again to it
but cutting it in half.
