Hi,

I have been daignoised with neuroendocrine carcinoid which is of primary origin in the lungs and now metassasied to the lympnodes pancreas the ovaries and the spinal cord. I was asked to start on octrotide injections for 2 weeks  3 a day ,the first week was ok then the second week everything went haywire. I had unbearable stomach pain and nausia,  Even Diladin at the ER could not keep the pain down  Now I'hv been told to stop the octrotide untill further notice from the DR I am also to start Radiation asap. Is there any one out there with a similar case who can give me some more information. I am back home from the hospital today and am on morphine for the pain which is really not doing much for me

Any one who has any experiance pls write to me But prayers are also welcome.

God Bless Us All

Simmi
