My heart goes out to all of you who are fighting this menace.
My mother has gone through chemo and has now suffered some complications.
She has gotten Shingles due to her immune system being compromised due to chemotherapy.
Unfortunately, she has has gotten PHN - Post-herpetic Neuralgia - and the pain..she says is undescribable. She even got hit twice with the Shingles re-surfacing.
She was on Lyrica (no help)/amitriptyline (no help) - Not sure if there is anything else.
It's so sad to see that after her rough time with chemo, she still is not getting a break - the shingles is wearing her down.
