2 years ago I started to have trouble with my speech - it seemed I didn't have enough air to breathe & speak.  I also started generating a lot of mucus.  I do have allergies and have had sinus surgery inthe past, so I thought this was a reocurrence of the chronic sinus problem.  the tumor was found accidentally - I was on the treadmill a half hour every day so it wasn't messing with my activity level.  I believe I have carcinoid syndrome because of the many symptoms I have encountered.  I grew an enormous amount of thick dark hair on my face which has now disappeared, I still am very congested with mucus and I can't speak.  I am fine otherwise.  I own my own cosmetic business so it is difficult for me not to speak.  I feel like my throat is all tied in knots.  I don't know if it's from tension or all the mucus.  I have had numerous neurological tests that all turn out normal.  anyone have any suggestions?
