I have another local recurrence about 15 months after the first one I got about a year after the initial diagnosis of colon cancer and subsequent resection followed by chemo for 6 mos. After the first recurrence I had radiation following resection surgery, now the surgeon says my bowels will be weaker than before because because of the radiation last year and there is an increased chance of the resection leaking. I wonder if anyone here has run into this and can share any insight...Thanks and keep God always MichaelB

Hi Michael.

Sorry to hear what you are going through, my wife had that problem and saw a speicialist who dealt with that type of surgery and she had an op to fix the problem.. ask to see some one who spcilises in that field..
