I have not posted in a while. My mom passed away on June 27th.   I am still in recovery mode after the 15 month battle with her two GBMs.  I don't have much to say now except that my prayers are with all of you still fighting this absolutely horrible disease. God Bless and please remember to take a breather from the treatment regimens and caregiving to simply just have fun and laugh with your loved one............and always make sure you tell them how much you love them...........

If you can, make a video montage of your loved one. It has really helped me to remember mom before the brain cancer -- sometimes the memories of mom with cancer are hard to get away from and you really really need to try to forget those memories when your loved one passes and to focus on the good memories........... the video helps us...............

Good luck.

God Bless.

Hi Penny,

I am so sorry to hear about your Mom, I know that you must miss her terribly.

The video idea is a wonderful one, and I'm sure that many people will benefit from this suggestion.

Take care,

M.

Hello Penny,

I'm sorry to hear about your Mom. I'm sure you will cherish each memory.. I have just begun your journey. Mom was dianosed with non -small cell lung cancer a few weeks ago. The video is a great idea.

God bless you,

Sherrie

Dear Sherrie,

I am so very sorry to learn of your loss.  I am so very, very sorry.

I know you'll have many, many memories of your Mom and there's this saying I heard once; "In memory is life's reason."

I am thinking of you.  I only wish there could be something I could do to ease your suffering.

Sending love, prayers and big hugs

Phyllis

Phyllis, REALLY lovely quote!

Penny, my heart is with you. It will be hard and lonely at times. Keep telling people what you need, ok? Whether it's a funny movie or time to walk and be alone, those who love you will understand.

Peace and love,
Sarah
