So I got the LEEP procedure done about two weeks ago the surgery went fine and it got done fast which made me happy. but the doctor told me there would be spotting which I assumed but I have been having ashy discharge from the burnt area of my cervics cover my toilet paper and underwear and also I've been you could say leaking watery substance soaking through my underwear and pants forcing me to wear pads all the time. I'm gettin tired of all the grossness coming outta my body and am wondering if any of this is normal because this isn't what the doctore warned me about.

Thanks to everyone who has posted comments about the LEEP procedure - whether they were negative or positive.  I had the irregular pap, which came back as a level 2 and was told I needed the LEEP.  I am scheduled for it tomorrow and truthfully, I wasn't concerned about it - other than dreading the discomfort like I had with the colposcopy.  After reading the comments, though, I must say, I am actually getting a little freaked out.  My doc has given me a valium to take before the procedure and said she would gladly give me pain meds, if necessary, for afterward, but as the time looms closer and closer for the appt, I find myself becomming a basket case!  Too bad I have to wait until an hour before the procedure to take that valium!  Thanks, though, to everyone, for your candor (even if it was TMI) and honesty.  Good luck to all of you and to me, too!
