My brother has been on Radiation and Chemo for 6 weeks for rectal cancer. He just took his last dose on 10/06/09. How long does it take to get out of your system? Also, he will be having the pet scan at the end of the month - will this scan show if the tumor has gotten smaller. One last thing - can someone tell me how he needs to prepare for the operation?
