This site is a blessing!

How did I not know about this site and message board? How I wish someone had told me about it in February when my husband was diagnosed with his GBM IV. He is doing well and therefore I, too, am doing well. Reading and contributing to the posts on here is very cathartic. Thank you all for sharing where you are with this horrific disease.  I will keep you and your loved ones in my prayers as I know you do for everyone else going through this.  Each day is a gift and so is finding all of you.

Sorry you need it but glad it's here... I understand. I have learned so much and it has really given me a sense of support... there are so many amazing folks here who totally understand what you're going through.

What has your husband been doing for chemo etc.?

Ditto on your posting.  I have also found that Carepages is another wonderful site that offers a lot of support from fellow GBM warriors.

The site can be accessed at:

If you search for garyvoliner in the search area, you'll find my husband's page.  If you follow for some time you'll see the amazing amount of support that is offered.  Also, it's a great way to keep family and friends updated on the status of your husband rather than having to talk on the phone and via email individually.

I know what you mean!  I just found this last week and it's made a world of difference!  I've struggled quietly on my own for almost two years, and this is the first time I've felt that I have REAL understanding support.  (wife of Steve gbm iv dx 11/07).  Thanking God for you all. all love, jan
