Northridge doctor who claimed herbal treatment could cure cancer is charged with fraud Christine Daniels, 55, also an ordained Pentecostal minister, was charged by federal prosecutors after claiming that her 'C-Extract' was an alternative to traditional cancer treatments.

A Northridge doctor and ordained Pentecostal minister was charged by federal prosecutors with wire and mail fraud after claiming that her herbal treatments could cure cancer.

Christine Daniels, who was arrested Thursday, claimed her "C-Extract" was an alternative to chemotherapy and other medical cancer treatments. Prosecutors allege that she collected more than $1 million from patients, some of whom later died of cancer or complications from the disease. Some of those patients took "C-Extract" instead of getting medical treatment.

According to the U.S. attorney's office, Daniels, 55, even discussed her treatment on the TBN Christian cable channel.

I personally know nothing about Dr. Christine Daniels or her claim that her C-Extract could cure cancer so I will have to see how this plays out in court before making any judgement..... I do know however that the FDA has for many years persecuted and prosecuted untold numbers of reputable alternative practitioners who were foolish enough to "claim" success. ....... There are a great many alternative practitioners in North America who go quietly about the business of treating cancer successfully with natural protocols knowing only too well that at any time they could face prosecution if they dared to use the word "cure."...... For anyone interested in researching this subject here are several links...... http://www.silentbetrayal.com/excerpt.htm ....... http://www.health-science-spirit.com/cancerpersecution.html ..... Thanks for the post CancerStrike2. I hope it opens up some interesting discussions...... _____________________________________________________________
