My sister had the whipple procedure done on Sept 29, 09 in Atlanta at Emory University. They didn't tell us she had pancreatic cancer, they did the procedure because they found a V.A.M. (Ventricular Artierial Malformation) that was wrapped around her pancreas and pressing agianst her gallbladder creating ulcers on them all. They remover part of her pancreas, her gallbladder, 2 bile ducts and part of her stomach. They didn't give her any type of enzymes or any type of restrictions on her diet and they only kept her 1 week after the surgery and sent her home and she started vomiting the next day & couldn't stop till we took her back to the Hosp closer to home in Brunswich, GA. They put her on fluids because she was dehydrated and they think their is a blockage somewhere. They are planning to send her back to Atlanta, but I just didn't know if anyone has had this problem? Any information would be appreciated, Thanks, Melissa
