Hallucinations

My mom has begun to have hallucinations and increased forgetfullness.  Has anyone experienced this in dealing with someone with a glioblastoma.

Her past couple of scans have not shown any active tumor activity.

Could this be attributed to over medication or is it a sign that the tumor is beginning to grow?

Any help is appreciated.

Call the doctor ASAP. It could be due to the level of steroids, or it could mean she has some brain swelling. Hang in there!

Hi GCF,

My hubby had these as a result of Decadron.  When they decreased it, hallucinations went away...worth looking into.

Take care,
