hi everyone and hi too leonard,I have just been told after waiting what seemed too be a life time that my dad s not got long left that the swelling in his legs is due too glands and veins shuuting down as the bile duct cancer spreads. I have too ring his oncologist on monday and they will give him chemo, more for a phsycological lift as if chemo gives this. The doctor has put out an emergency call for the macmillan nurses too come out and help us as my poor mum is at her wits end, because my dad has become angry with her and us and feels noone cares now. We care soooo much the heart break we feel is overwhelming. Realisation for us has just kicked in.IF one of your loved ones is coping with this awful parasite which is cancer then shower them with as much love as you possibly can manage let them know there not alone and when the time comes tell them its ok too let go. Love too all. A heartbroken daughter ..Alio

Hi Alio,

This is Leonard...I just saw this message. I responded to your other message to me just a while ago.

I hear all the sadness in your writing, I feel so bad for you and your mom.

Like I mentioned in my recent post...stay with your dad as much as possible. I understand what your dad is saying to your mom...my father did the same to my mom...it just come with having a terminal illness.

It's hard to think and say, but the sooner the end happens the easier it will be on your dad...suffering and pain no person should experience.

Alio, take care, keep me update...it's hard but your life will go on...now the time to help your mom...she is losing someone she'd shared her life with and now she going to be losing him...take care of her.

Your friend, Leonard
