CA 125 results

I just got my test results.  The normal limit is 0-34 and I am at 35.  I have a cyst in my ovary that is growing.  The first ultrasound report said it was hemorragic.  The second ultrasound report said that they can't rule out cancer.  What is your opinion...should I be worried...

I would be worried and have the ovaries removed.  If it is cancer, you have probably caught it early.  If it isn't, maybe you didn't need that ovary anyway.

All my CA-125 test were within the normal range, I never knew I had cancer until my ob/gyn did a hysterectomy and "scraped:" a small brown spot from one of my ovaries. The test isn't accurate so I would ask for other test, ct scan and mybe a biposy. If you have already had all the children you want in life a complete oopharectomy (spelling) wouldn't be a bad idea. Don't waste time, everyday counts.....Believe me, I see so many mistakes, bad judgment that I cry wishing I could just go back. I will be praying for you....Remember, today is not soon enough to insist on finding the answers so you can make the right chose, after all it is your LIFE  we are talking about.

I could not have said it better.  Thank you.

My CA 125 tests were of no use.  The ultra sound is what found my gcell tumor.  I had a complete hysterectomy in Jan 07 and keeping my fingers crossed. My prayers are with you all.
