For anyone out there about to get any major surgery.
look into cell saver or cell salvage machine.
It is a machine like a dialasys machine . They suck up the blood you loose , clean it and put your own blood right back into you!
Seems like a no brainer to me.
Less expensive (by far) and much safer.
