I posted several times over the past year and my husband had stage III stomach cancer. They removed 75% of his stomach and 22 lymph nodes which 7 of them showed traces of cancer. He took 6 months of chemotherapy and refused radiation. He has healed very well and gained his weight back and energy. Well today we found out that he has several lymph nodes that showed up with cancer. They are located upper abdomen. He sees this as the end. My question is there anyone one out there that has had the cancer return to the lymph nodes and what is usually the prognosis and treatment?

Is chemo no longer an option for him? Can they remove those lymph nodes?
