Why is Dr. Richard R.P. Warner spoken of so highly??

I am just curious why he is spoken of so highly. I saw Dr. Kim who works under him. I did alot of research into him and know he is very aggresive and takes risks but from what I have read and all the other oncologists I have spoken to at Sloan or Duke have told me he is outdated and to aggresive for this type of cancer. Maybe they are all wrong and he is right? I have no clue im as lost as anyone else. All I know is that im not getting better but I was told by Dr. Kim that I should go on Chemo and maybe will live longer then 5yrs. I had a resection in my colon and 5 spots on my liver to small to remove as of today. Like I said so far what I read that he is wrong and all the other specialist in this cancer disagree with him.  Has anyone seen him and had second opions from other highly viewed doctors? Thanks
