Hello to anyone who has advice--My son has just completed 3 cycle of 4 in his Hogdkins treatment- And all of a sudden even though he is taking "3" colace per day and eating properly- he got his first hemorrhoid- quite large he states and "very" uncomfortable-- he is using Prep H cream as told to us by his doctor-- but he is in a lot of discomfort- does anyone have a suggestion that they might have used also?.... Also he just recently has gotten mouth sores- did not get them until now!! He is using the Nystatin Mouth gargle- "4" times a day and just now the doctor recommended " Magic Mouthwash"- to numb the pain-- it only lasts a few minutes he says-- he really is a trooper- but I feel terrible-- any ideas again??
The doctor also states that his sores will go away once his WBC rebound- since he is in the time period of his cycle when his WBC are the lowest-- but why I am upset is that he had just as low WBC counts during his 1st and 2nd cycle and never had this problem-- why is this happening now??? after the 3rd cycle???
Anyone with any ideas or support please let me know.
