Does anyone know of any sarcoma specialists in the San Francisco Bay Area? My dad was diagnosed with leiomyosarcoma in July. He is receiving taxotere and gemzar chemo treatments and the chemo is decreasing the size of tumors. We feel we need a second opinion at this point on how to find a good balance of chemo and maybe remission.
Thanks

My husband is being treated at Sloan Kettering in NY. We have been told (and I searched internet) that they are one of the best for sarcomas. People come from all over the states to go there. IF you can't come in to the City, call them maybe they can refer you to a place closer.
God Bless your family.
