MIL passed

The roller coaster ride is over at last. We still thought the ride might turn up the next day, but it didn't happen.

My dear MIL was diagnosed with an inoperable Anaplastic Astrocytoma in July, 2008. Biopsy was done in June, 2009. She had a 3 week radiation, when she noticeably deteriorated and was advised to drop all the treatment. In August, 2009, she moved to her daughter's place and got an in-home hospice care. Last Wednesday, she went to ER for pneumonia and passed away after two days. It was 2 week before her 65th birthday.

She gave us a lot of hope, laughter and love. She had an unimaginably big heart and is remembered by so many people in special ways.

Hello Sun,

I am sorry to hear your MIL has passed. This cancer journey is not an easy one. You and your family will have the wonderful memories of her, the good times and her couragous fight. Hopefully, someday there will be a cure for "the beast". I will keep you and yours in my prayers.

Dear Sun,

I am very sorry for your loss and wish you and all of the family the condolences of my husband and myself.  There is no understanding of this awful disease that we are all dealing with.  Hopefully with time the loss will not hurt as bad.  T& T

Dear Sun,

The only, repeat ONLY, good thing about this terribly cruel disease is that we get to love each other through it, and say goodbye. Hope you can feel the love flowing... and that you always will.

My heart to yours,

Sarah
