My husband has stage 4 colon cancer. He has not been able to recieve his chemo treatments for 3 weeks due to a low platelet count. Worried

That really isn't that unusual.  The chemo really does a job ont he platelets, and there is nothing they can do but give it to for them to come back up.  Tell him to be very careful shaving, and doing anything else with sharp objects where he could get cut.  Also, be very careful about bruising.
