I am concerned with a cough my husband has.Does sutent cause this?

My husband also has a cough! He does have multiple tumors in his lungs from Kidney cancer mets. but did not have a cough until he started sutent...and he seems to have shortage of breath even tho the tumors have slightly shrunk???????? Anyone else have this symtom? Thank you and God Bless you all!

thank you for responding. my husband does have flem also. Just don't know if it is due to sutent.

My dad has stage 4 rcc and has not been on sutent but was on a similar one which was nexavar. He had a horrible cough and could hardly breethe. Had scan done and found a large amount of fluid built up in his lungs. Had one lung drained last week and will have other one drained next week. So far this has helped him alot. Allready an improvement. Hope this helps.
