Help me help my dad!

My father went to see gastrointologist in July because of stomach pains and heartburn.  The doctor there found a mass in his liver which turned out to be cancer.  He decided to have surgery.  When they actually opened him up they found it was not only on left lobe but in right lobe.  They removed left lobe and burned all cancer on right side available to the naked eye.  He also had 10 lymph nodes removed 8 tested positive for cancer.  The Dr. inormed us anyone else would have closed him back up and said enjoy the rest of your time.  We are extremely grateful.  We were told his time was extended but cancer would more than likely return.  We seen his oncologist yesterday and she would be starting him on chemo and radiation for 7 weeks 5 times a week, he agreed.  We then met up with his cardiologist, as he also has a heart only working at 35%.  He has a defibulator, which for the first time went off the other night.  The cardiologist told him your heart can't take much more of this.  It flew you through surgery and I don't know how well it will do with the chemo and radiation.  My dad decided he was not going to go through the chemo and radiation.  We are leaving this in the lords hands.  I would greatly appreciate any natural, holistic inormation anyone might have.  We are going to help him in any other way possible.  I just don't know where to start. Thank You

My husband was diagnosed with HCC (Hepatocellular Carcinoma) in the left and right lobes of his liver 14 months ago.  After 2 chemo trial drugs and Nexavar, nothing worked.  We have been seeing an Acupuncturist since May and have changed his diet - mostly veggies and fruits and he is feeling fine.  We go to the Oncologist every 2 months for blood tests to see how his liver function is.  In September the Doctor was amazed that his liver is functioning better than when he was first diagnosed.  My advice would be to find a good Acupunturist and follow whatever they say.  We are very blessed that we found an excellent one.  You can also do your research online as to diets for liver cancer.  There is a lot of information out there.

Please let me know if I can help further.
