Cancer survivor from Alternative meds.

I have undergone  chemo followed by surgery for lymphoma in 2004.
but the lymphoma was back in 2006.

My physical exam was not good, I was getting weaker with time & even the meds given by the doc did no improvement.
I thought perhaps there's other ways.
That's when I tried alternative meds.

I read about quercetin is good against cancer & started with 1000 grams per day.

a homeopathic preparation by Lux Health Resources.
I also heard some people took it so I added this  remedy.
The homeopathic is available from
                 http://www.luxhealthresources.net/

I begun to improve using the homeopathic above.  This remedy is stronger than the quercetin because when I stop taking it, the healing does not go on.   The improvement has gone so far I have my strength back and I can walk & even exercise.

I was considered terminal (dying)  by my doctor.
He said I have 6 months to a year to live.

But I continue to survive for a year and a 9 months now
and I do not have much of the pains and weakness of lymphoma.
I still have the cancer, but I am alive and can enjoy my life
with family and people I love.
My life has been changed and I am a cancer survivor because of alternative medicine.

Good morning rodney9

First let me say congratulations on your success using alternatives.  Your message should be very encouraging for others considering taking that path.
I too am a survivor of lymphoma.  I opted out of the traditional treatments that were recommended when I was diagnosed in early 2004 and turned instead to a medical doctor who specializes in treating cancers with natural protocols.  Since then I have enjoyed an excellent quality of life feeling stronger and healthier than I had for years before my diagnosis.  Like you, my cancer is not cured but my traditional doctor, who monitors my condition several times a year, tells me that if he did not know my history of having huge tumours  in my lungs and chest cavity at the time of diagnosis, he would say I was in perfect health.
Large doses of antioxidants have been an important part of my treatment protocol. Besides intravenous vitamin C treatments, oral lypo-spheric vitamin C was highly recommended. I continue to use it daily.
Here's  a link to a video of a presentation made to the  35th Annual Cancer Convention in the USA by Dr. Thomas Levy which contains excellent information about the value of this type of antioxidant.
skip down to the four part video on lypo-spheric vitamin C
I am familiar with quercetin having researched it before I started using it but I was not aware of the homeopathic remedy you used.   Thanks for that link.  I'll pass it along to my alt/doctor.
Continued good health
Sheila

Did you have a low-grade lymphoma?

Low-grade lymphomas almost always return but are very treatable. Do you not credit the treatments you received? Without proof, recommending alternative meds can be very dangerous. I'm glad you are doing better--you may have done better with or without further treatment, as lymphomas can wax and wane on their own.
