I have noticed that in my bowel movements a couple of times their have been little white seeds. Also I have found something oval shaped that is red and looks like raw meat. I don't eat red meat and don't eat raw meat so I can't figure out what this can be. Has anyone else had this happen to them? if so can you please tell me what it is? thank you!

Hi

It sounds like undigested food to me, but for your own peace of mind see a Dr.

One way of seeing if your colon is working is eat some corn and because body does not digest corn it comes out in stool, so check it every time  and see if and when it comes out, It should really come out next day..

Hope this is a help....

As gross as it sounds-could you have eaten a sesame seed bun when you noticed the little white seeds.  Tomatoes from salsa, spaghetti sauce, pizza could cause the red I suppose.

No I haven't ate anything with seeds in it, which is why I was so concerned.. The red oval thing, I showed my husband and he said it looks like flesh. I told my dr and she didn't seem too concerned. I have had other problems; bright red blood in stool, and when i wipe. Low left abdominal cramping. And I have had a sigmoidoscopy and also a CT scan of my abdomen, ultrasound of my pelvis/abdomen, blood work, and a fecal test which all came back normal. When i did the fecal test i noticed my stool is so hard to pull apart. the consistency has changed as well as the shape. the color is normal. I feel like the dr thinks i'm crazy because i am so persistent, but i know there is something wrong. I know she won't do a colonoscopy and honestly i don't really want one!!
