DCA Treatment for tumors

Has anyone heard of the experimental treatment out of Canada that has had some superior results. It's called DCA which stands for Sodium Dichloroacetate and it's used with caffeine. Well, I don't know that much about it, but I know of a vet who used it on a dog with Bladder Cancer and the dog had amazing results. Of course, it's used on people too and there have been some outstanding results. Just wondering what others might have heard about it. I live in Phoenix and can't find any vet here that even knows about it. But some vets around the US are trying it. The website I found is www.thedcasite.com   My 15 year old Beagle has a huge tumor in his bladder and the vet I go to has just given up. I wish I could find a vet that uses DCA as a treatment.

Thanks for listening.

I was quite interested in DCA and even donated a bit to the Canadian doctors who were working with it.  Try googling DCA.

There should still be a group concerning themselves with

it as a cancer alternative treatment, and it may be possible to buy some by mail order. good luck, Jack F

Thank you, Jack, for responding to my message. I did find one site that will sell the DCA, but I wouldn't know how to use it or how much. Also, you have to use caffeine with it. Still, I will keep looking.

Did you become disenchanted with DCA for some reason? I'm a big believer in alternative treatments.

Again, thanks for your input.
