My husband had his 1st post treatment scan and it was all clear!!  We're thrilled...don't want to re-live the nightmare.  Now we start the countdown for the next scan in December.  So grateful for all the support from this message board.

Congrats to you - what a wonderful gift this is! I've had two clean scans, not sure when the next one is, but I celebrate each day and try not to overthink it. A wonderful Thanksgiving to you. Like me, he'll maybe be able to eat some holiday meals this year after not being able to last year!

Congratulations....like Becky said, one day at a time, enjoy life and believe through prayer the next scan will be the same....don't count down the days until the next scan...5 years is a long time to live your life that way....so congrats, enjoy it, adapt a Serenity Prayer Approach: God, grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot Change, the Courage to change the things that I can; and the Wisdom to know the difference.  God Bless you and your family and have a wonderful Thanksgiving.  You as well Becky.
