I was told to only put it around the areas that are oozing and crusting (3rd week of applying) Would prefer to get rid of as much precancer as possible. Has anyone been told it is ok to put effudex on areas that are oozing and crusting? Thanks.

Can't answer exactly. Just to say I've never been told to stop because of it's response and I've carried on applying it when oozing (weeping with water) and when crusting.

My skin sometimes weeps very fast and does it less as treatment continues.

My worry about putting it over crusting was that the cream wouldn't go through the crust and so that area wasn't getting the full 28 applications.

It has always healed by going less red, then flaking or perhaps crusting and then being smooth. My scalp tends to mainly flake and my face / forehead to crust or flake.

Thank you for your comments.

I am getting some bleeding that started within  a crusted, weeping area.  Did you have bleeding?

I am concerned that the area that was previously treated a year ago is just as bad as before, does this mean it isn't working?  have you redone any areas and found that?

Thank you so much for answering, hope you are having good luck with your treatment.

Hi Mazuri,

I've answered on your 'repeat treatment note'.
