I wrote in here back in July when my mom had just been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. The onco told us she had stage IIIa but just recently we found out she was actually stage IIIc verging on IV. She's had 5 rounds of chemo and a few days ago developed jaundice. She's been taken to the hospital (today) and we're waiting to find out what it all means. They did do a CT scan recently and found no traces of cancer anywhere. When they did the debulking operation on her they had found that the cancer was spreading to the lining of her liver. Now I'm worried that it has gone into her liver but the CT scan didn't pick it up. Could this be possible? Does anyone know what jaundice means? I know it's a side-effect of chemo. But I'm worried that even if it is the chemo, the liver will be so damaged that it will be irreversible. I would love to hear stories from people who know something about jaundice and what it might mean. Thank you
