Localized Pancriotic Cancer?

Subject: Localized Pancriotic Cancer?

Hi My grandad has just been diangosed with Panctriotic cancer
but its "localized" - im not too sure what this means. The
doctors are deciding weather he need surgery to have it
removed...... Can anyone help?

Localized pancreatic cancer is the best kind to have. It means the cancer has not spread to other parts of the body, but is localized within the pancreas. Generally, this means it can be removed with surgery. This is really the only cure for pancreatic cancer.
