The best thing you can do here is ask your pharmacist about drug interactions. Take a list to show him, of everything she takes. He will tell you. Pharmacists know more about drugs than the doctors..That's what they do.. When I was diagnosed with a paralized stomach, I began to take Pancrease to help me digest my food. I also take a good b-complex and a multi vitamin. I am doing very well, without over-doing it on all this stuff...Like they say, good balanced diets make a lot more sense. My husband has stage 4 lung cancer. He is 44, never smoked. We have tried 1st line chemo, and then on to a 2 line clinical trial, nothing has seemed to work to shrink the cancer. We are now going to start Tarceva, but waiting for insurance approval. A friend gave us some supplements from Mannatech, the advanced Ambrotose, AO, Manna Clense and Plus. I started my husband on the ambrotose last night, the dose you talked about. The 1/2 tsp, the bottle says 1/4. He woke up with a really bad headache during the night. Could you help me with the dosage, it sounds like you think he should be taking more than 1/2 tsp. Any help or direction would be appreciated. Could the ambrotose cause a bad headache? What are the side effects, if any?

Ambrotose can cause temporary (3-10 days) side effects such as headaches, hives, acne and indigestion. This is the correction and cleansing reponse in the cells. That means it's working. I experience acne for about a week, but some people don't experience any side effects. It's important to continue to take the products for at least 3 months before you may see or feel any benefits. I've known personally several people who have outlived their doctors predictions by years after staying on the Ambrotose. Your husband should probably be taking 3-4 Tablespoons a day. I took that in the beginning, and then backed the dosage down after my tumors were showing evidence of dying off. I now take 6 tsp. a day, Catalyst (multivitamin) AO and ImmunoStart. I think the Catalyst and AO are very important for anyone with cancer, but if you do nothing else, I would buy and take as much Ambrotose as your husband can stand. Also, the Advanced Ambrotose is fairly new, so ask your friend about taking the regular Ambrotose. It 's tried and true and in your husband's case, I'd try the original formula. I have 2 aunts with cancer, one with breast cancer and one with bone cancer who have been taking only the Ambrotose for about a month, and are feeling really good and have increased energy, even through their treatments. The 1/4 tsp that is suggested on the bottle is for people who are perfectly healthy. You can't take too much. It's only made out of food (brussel sprouts, broccole,kale, aloe, ect.) If your friend hasn't directed you to the website Glycoscience.org, you should check it out.

Hi. I'm not exactly sure what type of information you want regarding the Ambrotose. Briefly, a friend of mine who is a nurse and a nutritionist gave me Ambrotose 2 years ago to try as I was fighting metastatic liver tumors from a pancreatic tumor. Ambrotose is comprised of 8 simple sugars (saccharides) that are no longer present in today's diet. The ingredients consist of all plant sugars from broccoli, kale, aloe, cauliflower, spinach, etc. These saccahrides enable cells to function properly and communicate with each other to prevent them from turning diseased. I've been on several Mannatech supplements for two years and right now I'm cancer free and feel better than I ever have, even when I was a teenager. Alot of people say they don't work and doctors really don't know much about them, but I know how I feel and I have my own family on them and we've all seen fantastic results. Most people that say they don't work, either haven't taken them or have not taken them correctly. They need to be taken regularly like food. It's just basic nutrition. I also take an antioxidant and a multi-vitamin from Mannatech. There is a lot of science to back up these supplments, but the biggest testimonial is the positive results I've seen in myself, my mom and my two aunts with cancer (one with breast and one with mulitple myeloma). I have great interesting in the information you directed to Mom of 2. Since I have been diagnosed on July 2005, a large tumor on my Pancreas has been found.After learning, I classified that this tumor I think is Carsinoid Tumor, because, praise the Lord Jesus, it doesn't disturbe me, I have no carcinoid symptom or syndrome. The doctor said it has to be operated to take out the tumor, but I didn't take this action soon because I think if there is still other way to use to kill the tumor and to bring it to be died. Since it has been found, until now, I have been taking some kind of Herbals that normally used against the tumor.

When I read your usefull information on this website, I think it is very accurate if I take the Ambrotose as you have taken before. Which kind of Ambrotose that usefull for me, Ambrotose AO or Advanced Ambrotose...?.

Mrs.Kimgee, I live in Indonesia. Do you know an agent in Indonesia that sell this Ambrotose...?.

Good to hear you're not having any symptoms! Carcinoid tumors are somewhat rare and many doctors are unsure how best to treat them. Most feel surgically removing them is the safest and best thing to do. I think the Ambrotose is something everyone should be taking, especially if they are facing disease. If you can get it, take the Advanced Ambrotose powder (bulk). The AO is an anti-oxidant, which is important, but I think the Ambrotose is crucial. It gives our bodies all of the nutrients it needs to help our cells work properly. They have the "Optimal Health System" which are several products that work together for good health, but if you can only take one product, take the Ambrotose powder. I'm not very familiar with Indonesia, but I think the countries closest to you that sell Mannatech products are Austrailia and Taiwan.
