You nailed that on the head....it is insideous and it is not detectable until the symptoms arise which is then too late usually. Interesting comments that your dad said......had he had the gb out years ago he'd still be here. My Mom has 5 sisters........she was one of the youngest. All of them have had gall bladder problems and thus had it removed. She was the only one who did not have any problems thus had no reason to have it out......and ironic as it is, she is the one that obtained the dreaded disease the others were avoiding. Her mother (my grama) also died of stomach cancer......I guess I best keep an eye on my own digestive system as the years pass. Take care and thank you for your post. Dawn

It's Dawn again......I just had to write this down. As I was re reading your poem.....something very strangely familiar about it kept flickering in my mind....I read it again and I have remembered where I have heard it before.....sit down because this is very strange......:)......I remember the poem because as I still try to de-fuzz the last year and especially the funeral time which is a complete blurr to me......I recall those words being said over my Mom's casket, by the Minister. She said that poem for us, and I remember her asking me if I liked the poem as she thought it was a nice thought for the children to take away from the service....Isnt that just bizzare???? Life dishes out some very interesting twists and turns. I just wanted to let you know, that not only was your connection with me similar due to circumstances...there appears to be an angel in the midst :).
