Though guidelines suggest screening starts at 50, researcher says it's premature to change them

Full of anxiety and dread. CTscan today, no results till Wednesday. This anxiety I feel is not only for myself, but for my dad, and what HE must be going through. Things have gone so smoothly up till now, and it feels like that dark cloud that has been hovering is ready to pour on us.
I know we have had more time and he has had a lot of quality, and I am may be borrowing trouble,(which I tend to do alot) but put simply- this feeling, this disease and the toll that it takes on everyone involved- SUCKS.

So sorry for the delayed support...and I know where you are coming from...and the only advice is to offer as much distraction as you can... and be there for any feelings and comments...
Your unconditional love, constant support, genuine concern...is all you can do...and take of yourself too...
Big cyber hugs...

We have an expression in Trinidad (where my parents are from and part of my screenname here).... "Don't trouble, trouble, until trouble, troubles you." Don't go out looking for anything, or you will find it!
Love hard and be thankful for every single moment with your dad.
And I concur.... this disease SUCKS. If it weren't for me trying to behave ladylike, I would use other expletives.
